We bought furniture from Thomasville 160 East Altamonte Drive Altamonte Springs, FL. After receiving furniture 10 months later, the workmanship was so bad, centerline way off of center and cushion corners of sofa had large gaps on both sides, we returned them and reordered another sofa from Thomasville same store. 2nd time the backing was made with different firmness, we returned it again unused and another 8 months later we finally got a decent, well made sofa and love seat. We did not know then we would be charged another $1100.00 for some *** reason. Well, just recently (just a few months later) the springs in our sofa started popping and the seating area sagged so badly we called them back and they sent a repairman to look at it. He discovered that our expensive custom made sofa and love chair was made with plastic spring clips at the Thomasville factory. And we can hear them popping every day. Now we are waiting for the repairman to get metal clips from Thomasville so it can be repaired. I mean really? Thomasville. Are you for real? At this point I would not mind emptying a clip of WWB on this sh_t that we bought from Thomasville. Take heed don't get bamboozeled like we did.

Our clips of our almost $8000 Thomasville leather sectional have also started breaking. How can we get it fixed?

Guest

Ours is not quite fours old. The spring clips started breaking in the last month.

Still under warranty. will be repaired free of charge. Other than that, is a very nice sofa. But, yes, you would have thought they would have made a recall after so many failures.

Typical, about four years ago they changed vendors for the clips, probably some engineer decided to save cost. Look what it cost them now!

The cheap plastic clips broke six months after purchasing our sofa. I've tried contacting TF, per their request, and have not heard back.

We're soooooo mad! We're stuck with an expensive mistake.

Please, DON'T BUY FROM THOMASVILLE, YOU'LL REGRET IT! :(

Same thing just happened to us...we purchased new Thomasville chair 6 months ago and today when I sat down I hear a popping sound, the seat collapsed, and a plastic clip falls onto the floor. I turned the chair over and springs were poking through the bottom material.

My $2,400 Thomasville sofa and 1,300 Thomasville swivel side chair both had broken plastic clips within 2 years. I am SO frustrated that a good brand like Thomasville that takes care and pride in their built to last furniture would use plastic pieces which are all that hold everyone up.

I called Thomasville which were sorry it was out of warrenty and gave me a number to call to find someone to come fix it. But were also sorry there was NO one in my area to do that. Now what? I have my kids and grandkids coming for Christmas and every clip but the 2 on each end of sofa are broke and we moved the chair completely out of the room.

Where can I buy more clips?

Metal clips that is, not plastic. I have 6,000 of Thomasville furniture sitting in my living room and sorry to say it isn't lasting any longer than the Broyhill we had when we were younger and on a budget.
